Currently enrolled students who have paid the University Services Fee are eligible to be seen at Student Health Services. When you enroll at Temple University, you pay a University Services Fee each semester. This fee entitles you to use the services of Student Health Services. The fee covers most, but not all of your routine and acute care visits.
Students who are no longer enrolled at Temple University are not eligible for Student Health Services.
Have you graduated? Please visit our Graduation page for more information.
There are additional charges for the following services.
- Gynecology services that are not part of the Title X Family Planning Program
- Medications
- Lab tests
- Certain procedures- toenail removal, vaccinations, etc.
- Supplies- like splints, braces, and crutches
The University Services Fee is not health insurance.
We recommend all students get health insurance that provide coverage in the city of Philadelphia.
Health insurance covers you for many services we do not provide at Student Health Services. For example, if you need x-rays, you need the emergency room or to see a specialist, you will need health insurance. Most insurance plans also have prescription coverage that covers all or a portion of your medication costs.
